When can I check in?
Guests are welcome to check in between 3:00 and 6:00 pm
Please let us know if you would like to arrive later than 6:00 pm.
When do i have to check out?
We ask our guests to check out between 8:00 and 11:00 am
Guests are kindly requested to clear their rooms by 11:00 am at the latest so we have enough time to carefully prepare the room for the next guests. Please contact a member of our staff at the reception if you wish to check out later.
are there enough parking spaces?
Please note that there is only a small number of open parking spaces available in front of the hotel. These spaces will be offered on a first come first serve basis. If you cannot find a parking space here at the Sonnblick, you are welcome to park your car at our sister resort Auenhof. We kindly ask you to notify the reception desk in that case.
how can i pay for my stay?
You are welcome to pay by cash, VISA, MasterCard or debit card.
what are the cancellation fees?
does the hotel have free wifi?
Yes. When you check in you are going to receive a code to access the internet. There is free wifi with a fast connection throughout the hotel.
is hotel Sonnblick a non-smoking hotel?
We kindly ask you not to smoke in all the rooms and public areas of the hotel. You are, however, welcome to smoke in the heated area on the terrace.
What are the opening hours of the wellness area?
Our hotel spa and sauna area are open from 03:00 pm until 07:00 pm. In case of bad weather we will open the spa and sauna area at midday.
how far is the hotel from the nearest ski lift?
The "Schlegelkopfbahn", which is the main lift providing access to the ski resort, is about 80 – 100 metres from the hotel. The main ski piste is just a few metres from the hotel.
is the hotel accessible for wheelchair users?
Unfortunately, there are a few steps in the hotel, which mean, certain areas are not accessible for wheelchair users, however, the hotel does have a wheelchair-accessible lift which can be used to access the rooms and suites.
We kindly request guests with limited mobility to let us know in advance to ensure that they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us.
does the hotel offer a babysitting service?
We will be happy to organise a babysitter for your children for a small surcharge.
are dogs allowed in the hotel?
Dogs are only allowed upon request.
are there highchairs for children available?
There are highchairs available in our restaurant.
can i store my luggage in the hotel if i arrive early?
Guests who arrive early at the hotel are welcome to store their luggage with us until their room or suite is ready.
can i buy lift passes at the reception?
Tickets for the cable cars can be purchased quickly and easily from the reception desk in our hotel. This service saves you queuing up in the morning and gives you more time to enjoy the mountains.
do you offer an airport transfer service?
If you are arriving by airplane, we will be happy to organise a transfer from the airport to our hotel for a surcharge.
